Digital implantology in daily practice
Digitalisation in dentistry is a topic that has become more and more important. Nevertheless, oral surgery is a craft and has a lot to do with the surgeon's manual skills. How can digitalisation help dentists in this case? This is a question Ole Schmitt will answer in his lecture. He will cover topics like pre-operative planning with digital technology incl. 3D X-ray and intra-oral scanning, and will demonstrate that even augmentations can be planned digitally and discussed with the patient. "The nice thing about digital dentistry is that you don't need to start with the full package right away," Ole Schmitt says. "Depending on the situation in practice, you can start with individual components and expand the concept over time." The craft of oral surgery is going digital - use the advantages.
